Yes, we offer turnkey home building solutions, which includes the completion of different features including driveways, pools, landscaping, and even custom letter boxes. Once your custom designed home is complete, you’ll just have to turn your key in the door and move in – no need to worry about setting up anything else once!
The cost of your custom home build will depend on a variety of factors, including the size of your home, your build site, and the materials and finishings that you choose. In general, a 330-350m2 home with 4 bedrooms & 2-3 bathrooms would cost between $800k to $900k, whereas a 450-500m2 home with 5-6 bedrooms and 3-4 bathrooms would cost around the $1.5 million mark.
During the design planning process, we will have a look at your house design and price it out accordingly so you have a clear idea of the costs before we get started.
We use a standard HIA building contract.
The initial design and pricing process will take around 3 to 6 months, depending on how many changes are made to the design and selections. Following that, the DA approval usually takes around 6 months to process through council and CDC will take around 3 months with a private certifier. From DA or CDC approval onwards, it will generally take between 42 to 45 weeks until handover.
We generally run the selections process concurrently with the design, DA/CDC, and into the start of your build, so a lot of the timings will overlap.
Yes, you can definitely make changes (variations) to your house design during your build. However, we always remind clients that variations can add unexpected costs to your build, so we always recommend finalising as many details as possible during the design process
Yes, our designers can help you with the interior design of your new custom home.
Yes, you’ll receive updates throughout your custom home building process. When you build with Harlan Homes, you will be appointed a dedicated Project Manager who will provide frequent updates and is available for any questions or concerns you might have. We also offer monthly site meetings to walk you through the progress of your build.
Yes, you can include features such as a pool, landscaping, driveway, and other custom inclusions within your custom home build. This is part of our comprehensive turnkey home building solutions and can be included as part of your home building contract.
